The Way, The Truth, & The Life
Jesus Christ of Nazareth
Lord, we thank you today for all those who are parterning with us in the ministry of sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ (The Good News). Rose and I pray a special blessing over each one today. We pray that you would minister to their every need. We pray that you would bless each one of them indeed.
Lord, we pray that your will would be accomplished in all the earth in the spreading of the Good News. Lord, we pray that you would use each one of us for the furtherance of your Kingdom. As we seek your Kingdom first, may we know the voice that guides and directs us into paths of righteousness for your namesake.
Lord, we recognize that you are the author and finisher of our faith; the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. We know according to your Word that you will continue to complete the work in us until the day of Jesus Christ. Lord, we praise your name and lift you on high. We believe in your Holy Spirit and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit in our lives. We thank you for the opportunity to be used as jars of clay to share the good news of the Gospel.
In Yeshua's name we pray,
Amen |

"Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. And whither I go ye know and the way ye know.
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life; no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask anything in my name I will do it. If ye love me, keep my commandments and I will pray the Father and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you and shall be in you. I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you."

As I think about this passage in the Word of God, I am reminded that these very words were spoken into the atmosphere right here in Israel and have spread to everyone around the world. The amazing thing is that the disciples and Paul would take the Gospel not only to the Jews, but the Gentiles.
To know that Rose and I are in the very land where our Lord spoke every red lettered word and all the healing, promises, etc... it brings a sense of awe and wonderment. I stood in the hometown of Jesus, in the city of Capernaum, the very Synagouge and town where our Lord performed the miracles. After 2,000 years you can still see and visit the remains of the town. The most striking thing to me this week about the Word is that Jesus said, " I am the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE".
It is good to know that in the societies we live in today, there is a Way of atonement for us, and there is Truth and Life. These three items should help to give us hope in a very dark world. In a world where society is preaching pathways to a god, we can be sure there is only one WAY through the Son of the Most High God; The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. This word can bring comfort to a hurting world that is lonely and desperate for a relationship that won't let them down.
I am drawn daily into more intimacy with my Father in Heaven who desires his best for me. I know I can trust the Holy Spirit with all that I am for He leads me into paths of righteousness for His namesake. The difficult part is bringing our Minds, Wills, and Emotions into subjection to the Holy Spirit.
Jesus goes on to say in this passage that we will do greater works and He will send us a comforter. How refreshing to have the comforter at our side so we are not alone. Not only are we not alone Yeshua reminds us that there is work to do and that the works will be greater even after He left us and sent the comforter. To know that the God lives and resides in us in the person of the Holy Spirit is humbling and empowering.
My prayer for each of us today is that we would take heart of how much God wants to use each of us for the greater purposes in the earth today. We are the living stones of the temple that He is choosing to use to accomplish His will. Lets all pick up the standard and hold it high for all the world to see the Light in our life.
We were in a restaurant tonight and once again God showed up as we let our light shine. Our children drew the attraction of a woman in her 50's. She was so taken by the children. We shared with her and knew that God was at work. Then I asked Josiah what he learned at the Kindegarten today and the server came up and Josiah simultaneously said, "I learned about JESUS". The server smiled and we new what was happening supernaturally.
God used Josiah at that very moment to proclaim the name of Jesus. Josiah is only 4 years old. Jesus said to his disciples "Suffer the little children to come unto me." We all must enter into the Kingdom as little children. Today is the day of Salvation and I am so thankful that Josiah was not ashamed to speak the name of Jesus. Our prayer is the seed that was sown tonight was planted into fertile soil.
Blessings,

October Update |

Dear Partners in the Ministry ,
As I write this letter I was prompted by the Holy Spirit to write about the Coffee shop experience that Tom Fox and I had the other day in Israel. As Tom and I were sharing about the Word of God and our individual callings, I mentioned to him that life is multi-layered and faceted and that we seem to only see things one dimensional at times.
I explained to Tom that our very being at the coffee shop brings light to the dark world as one facet. On another, it helps the economy because as we consume coffee we bless Israel and the land economically. In another way, we share with the servers as they approach us. We communicate who we are and where we come from. There is also a spiritual realm that we don't see that is at work as we serve before the Lord. The Word says that Yeshua (Jesus) will draw all men to Himself (John 12:32). Since the empowerment of the Holy Spirit is in our lives, I believe that God draws people to us so that we can be Jars of Clay (2 Corinthians 4:7) of His outpouring to share the Good News with others.
We should never underestimate the ways of the Lord. The Word says that His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:9) and that He uses the foolish things of the world to shame the wise (1 Corinthians 1:27). God's redemptive plan can be as simple as a cup of coffee wherever you are in the world today. The living stone (1 Peter 2:5) that you are brings the light of God to a very hurt and misguided world.
I think another thing to remember, that has been on my heart lately and affirmed by "Mom" Burks in Texas, is this Eph. 2:5-6 That God has quickened me together with Christ and has raised me up and made me sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. If I am a born again child of God my Father and submitted to Him and His word and walk in a new relationship with Jesus and God the Holy Spirit this should create in me a reaction more fervent than I have ever had. So in humble faith I do now take my seat in the heavenly places with Christ Jesus. So teach me how to fulfill this ministry, how to exercise the authority which You have entrusted to me. So that in me Your purpose may be fulfilled"
We often forget the authority that God places in us as we are seated with Him in heavenly places. We are part of a Royal Priesthood. Ambassadors for the most High God to take the Kingdom of redemption through Yeshua (Jesus) to a fallen world in desperate need of Him. As we extend the Kingdom scepter, as God commands, we never know what will flow (mercy, love, healing, words of knowledge, salvation, etc...). The scepter that we are given is at HIS disposal to dispense exactly what is needed.
In most world governments we see the media portraying policies and decisions for the Governments made in large scaled media venues with handshakes and photo opportunities. However, in reality, most decisions are made in places like coffee shops and quiet places outside of the media's ears. God in the same way puts His SUPER on our natural. I love to see how God moves on the people of HIS Kingdom to accomplish His purposes.
In your ordinary day as you drive by the coffee shop, don't underestimate His greater purpose that may unfold as you walk through the threshold of that establishment.
Blessings,
Todd |

TBGM Women's Israel Trip! November 15th-24th
The group may be small, but it is not about numbers. It is about what the Lord wants to do in the lives of every woman involved. The Lord has a plan for the women coming and we are praying for His guidance as we travel throughout the land. We will be asking a young Jewish mom from Tiberius to join us for at least one day of our trip and praying that God will bring other women into our path that we can minister to along the way. In between our times of site seeing we will spend time focusing on what the Lord is teaching us and just enjoy each others company.
We are praying the women find peace in His presence and joy in the land. Keep them in your prayers as they prepare to travel. |

School Time!
Josiah and Abigail have officially started school. Their teacher, Riki, says they are adjusting well. She says they play well with the other children and listen during the teaching time. On Friday they have fun making Challah bread - the bread eaten for Shabbot dinner.
They definitely enjoy the bus ride to and from school. Every morning they wake up asking, "Mommy, when is it time to go get on the bus?" Remember them in prayer as they spend time with these children. We believe their little lights will shine brightly. |
