Speak Out the Word of God Over Your Life

Ministry Partners!

Rose and I send our greetings to you at the beginning of February 2008.  We have been strengthened in our personal lives through quality quiet time together as a couple.  We have been studying the book of Matthew, ane we have been learning the power of prayer at new levels as we speak the WORD of God over our lives.  Too often we focus on the negative and allow satan to build in our lives when we should be proclaiming the life giving Word of God over our lives.

When we speak the Word of God out into the atmosphere we allow God the opportunity to build upon the framework we place there.  We want to make sure that framework is the Word and in balance within the total picture where God is vinedressing us (John 15:1-3). Let me be quick to say, don't always expect instant results.  If you have been speaking negative things out into the atmosphere, that didn't happen overnight.  Taking back your surroundings for His glory will not happen overnight either.

Rose and I are daily speaking the Word into the atmosphere.  It is interesting to note how little this happens in our lives.  If you look at Jesus' ministry on earth, He spoke things into existence (healings, miracles, etc.)  In Christ's early ministry we see Him tempted in the desert.  He quotes the Word of God at the adversary (Matthew 4:4,7,10). If we are to be imitators of Christ, why don't we pray aloud in our homes and quote the Word of God over our lives?  I believe the promises of the Word need to be activated for the best possible outcome as God has created us in His image and for His purposes. (Genesis 1:27)

Rose and I are finding that we can stand on the WORD in the will of the Lord for our life.  We know that the Word is true and must come to pass.  We can always use the Sword of the Spirit for accomplishing the most damaging effects to the adversary's kingdom. (Ephesians 6:17)

The goal is to make a stand right now and let the Word begin to take root in our lives.  The Bible says, Thy word have I hid in my heart that I may not sin against thee (Psalm 119:11).  I have come to the point in my life that this particular verse is not talking about memorization, but of a true belief and trust in the WORD.  How many times do we read the Word only to forget what we have just read.  We need to internalize this information as if it were our SSN, phone number, bank, or grocery store that we frequently use.  Is not the WORD of God to be more important than these other things? Once again balance is what is needed. For some reason we have been out of balance as a body.

We can save ourselves a lot of heartache if we just stop and find the Scripture that is necessary to carry us through the day, week, trial, or joy we are experiencing.

In conclusion, God wants the best for each of our lives as we cultivate a personal and intimate relationship with the Lord (Jeremiah 29:11). As the world continues to spiral out of control; we can be confident God and His Kingdom will prevail as is written in the WORD (Matthew 24:12-14). We need to be ready to offer people, "The Way, Truth, and Life (John 14:6). Time is of the essence for our lives are merely vapors and what we do here on earth counts for eternity (James 4:14-17).

May God bless each of you richly as we seek the Father's will daily. I pray this word challenges each of us, myself included, to seek God at a deeper level personally in the days ahead.

Blessings,

Sarah

Honor's Reward

We just finished a book we have been reading in our quiet time together titled Honor's Reward , by John Bevere.  This book focuses on verses in Scripture which speak on honor.

I Samuel 2:30 says, "Those who honor Me I will honor, and those who despirse me shall be lightly esteemed."  These words were spoken by God.  The Word makes it quite clear that as we bless and esteem those around us (in other words, we "honor" them), we receive rewards.

Those we should honor include:  political leaders, church leaders, peers, domestic leaders, civil leaders, children, and the list goes on.  The most important person to honor is, of course, our Father.

As we read this book we found ourselves reflecting on our lives and evaluating how we honor those around us.  Some areas we already do quite well in, others we will need to improve.  We are excited to begin applying the Word in our lives.  As we honor God, and honor those around us, we believe the joy in our lives will increase.

This book includes example after example of how people's lives have been blessed when they learned the principle of honor.  We challenge you to read this book and begin to apply the truths from the Word of God that are written within.  We believe that you will find the blessings begin to flow.

Blessings,

Sarah

Russian Translation Work for Harvest School of Evangelism

The Harvest School of Evangelism Russian translation is completed.  We are working on final editting of the project in California.  This school will be distributed into the hands of new believers to teach them how to share their faith and firmly establish their walk with God.

We are praying that we will be able to take this school into Ukraine when I travel there in March.

Pray for the engineer working on the project in California. We want to pray for favor and wisdom as He works on the project.

We currently have four Schools sponsored at $300.00 each and have openings for 6 more.

The Harvest School of Evangelism uses the Bible as its text to help new believers learn how to share their faith from the beginning of their discipleship.  Most believers, when they come to know the Lord in this region of the world, learn to receive Jesus and then hide.  This schooling allows disciples to be grounded in what they believe Biblically and taught how to share their faith.
