We just finished celebrating three Messianic Passover celebrations this past Resurrection weekend. Two were the full version of around 2 hours and the other was an abbreviated explanation of the symbols of Passover and How Christ has fulfilled them. Each of these culminated in us taking communion the body and blood of our Lord. What a powerful time of reflection and empowerment in the Spirit.
We are gearing up for April 23-26 when I will be preaching on the Feasts of the Lord in Hicksville, Ohio. This will be a great time to share how Christ is and has fulfilled the Feast cycle that our Father put in place for the Children of Israel.
So many things happened in Israel in the time we where there for this FIRST trip in 2009. Our Family represented a total of 8 weeks in Israel with my wife leading a "Footsteps of Faith Israeli Journey for Liz and Marisa by herself while I cared for the children in the USA.
The most important event that occurred when we first arrived was to be an agent to help distract a crime that was in progress to a woman cleaning a home. She was being held at gunpoint and tied up with a belt when we walked by. Thank God that He put us and Clyde there to bring peace and comfort to a woman who was being hurt. Makes you wonder what would have happened if we didn't walk by that afternoon.
We saw over 250 pounds of clothes distributed to people in need.
Liz and Marisa had the opportunity to bring clothes into the country to help people in need. What a blessing. Thank you!!!!
I had the opportunity one divinely appointed day to be required by the Lord in intercessory prayer for a group from Poland that was preaching Christ to passers by on the street. This is very risky because you can be arrested for Proselytizing anyone 16 or under in Israel.
On another occasion we saw the hand of God work in the lives of people at a Arab fellowship that was ready to take baby blankets we brought in to their neighbors and friends who need Christ. Praise the Lord!!!! to see people challenged to preach Christ themselves.
Josiah and Abigail through their schooling in Israel had the privilege to sing and dance and share life abundant with elderly people in a retirement home.
While in Israel I preached a message on Transition. Before preaching the message Josiah read Psalm chapter 19 in our little fellowship time together.
Another blessing we have been a part of to watch come together is a couple we are covering and sending into the ministry. Taylor and Jessica will be getting Married on May 10th, 2009 in San Diego. We are blessed to have the opportunity to marry them and help them get a good start to their Marriage. They will be serving the Lord full-time in Ministry and will be going with Y-Wam and their Leadership camps this coming June. Pray for them as the start their life together ministering into all the World for Christ. Shortly after they are married they will travel to France and then on to their Y-Wam assignment for the Summer. You can learn more about them or support the work they are doing by going to their link on our website.
